Rectoral do Umia is in the Salnés Valley of DO Rías Baixas, north-western Spain, where albariño historically performs best.
The winery, part of the Family Wine Group Vinos y Bodegas Gallegas, was built in 2009 and is equipped with the latest technology to ensure consistency of quality.
The hand harvested fruit is fermented in stainless steel with a brief time on lees to preserve aroma and freshness in the Abellio Albariño. Albariño is best known for its botanical and citrus aromatics and with stone fruit on the crisp, dry palate making it a delicious aperitif or to accompany seafood.
