Dead Man Walking was created by Tom Kies in 2016. Whilst Tom was blessed with exceptional winemaking talent and zeal for life, the development of this label was an integral piece of his valiant yet ultimately unsuccessful 9 year battle to overcome bowel cancer.

As devoted family friends, the Hughes have taken on responsibility for Dead Man Walking to keep Tom’s winemaking vision alive, with sale proceeds from each bottle contributing to an education fund for his young sons.
