Louis Roederer remains 100% family owned, led by 7th generation Frédéric Rouzaud, with Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon as Chef de Cave and Vice-President. Louis Roederer is the largest biodynamic Domaine in Champagne; in March 2021, 115 hectares of the total 242 hectares Domaine vineyards were officially certified organic.

The highest percentage of Domaine vineyards of any House (70%) with all Vintage Cuvées made 100% from Domaine vineyards; in effect Louis Roederer is more ‘Grower’ than ‘House’. The vineyards average 98% on the official Eschelle Classification Cristal Brut and Cristal Rosé are made 100% from Grand Cru, organic certified and biodynamically farmed vineyards.
